EU-Kuwait bilateral workshop

On 12 April 2022, the EU Global Action on Space, in collaboration with the EU-GCC Dialogue, the EU Delegation in Saudi Arabia, and the GCC secretariat, organized the introductory high-level webinar (by-invitation-only), “Introducing the EU Space Programme: exploring the benefits of space data for the Gulf”. This introduction webinar allowed for a discussion on the opportunities that Copernicus and E-GNSS can offer in response to the key challenges faced by the different Gulf countries and paved the way for follow-up bilateral workshops with all six Gulf countries.  

A sixt closed-format follow-up bilateral workshop (by-invitation-only) will be organised on 20 July 2022 with the State of Kuwait. In particular, this workshop will allow the establishment of a dialogue with stakeholders in Kuwait on strategic topics, such as Galileo & EGNOS (E-GNSS) and other space business opportunities.
